My son bought a condo in Punta Gorda about 2 years ago now. I never heard of it at the time but we certainly frequent Punta Gorda as much as possible now. It is very quaint and scenic and tons of things to do and not far from other activities.... Ft Meyers, Sarasota, Busch Gardens and recently found Boca Grande by boat....AMAZing and can't wait to go back in November!

Shhh! This has to stop! Go away! Punta Gorda is a terrible place, these people are all lying. All kidding aside, I do want to keep it just the way it is, and ALL to myself. What a GREAT place, you will love it.

Punta Gorda, Florida has it all. It is a small friendly town with some of the most scenic views in Florida. There are many fine restaurants with excellent food and there is the Punta Gorda Civic Association that offers every kind of recreational club you can think of for having tons of fun. The city itself after being devestated by hurricane Charlie has rebuilt itself into a beautiful community that is a truly pleasurable place to visit and better yet, to live in.

Cute little town, hidden on the gulf side of Florida. It was an old Fishing village back in the day. If you like old history, sight-seeing, and cute shops and eaterys Punta Gorda, Fl is the place to go. Friendly people everywhere, and not to mention, one of the safest places on earth!! You've got lovely path-way parks to stroll in, boating, fishing and not to forget, Golf! All just at your finger tips,....it's surely a great place!!! We just love it, our "home" away from Home.
