Myrtle Beach has become a beloved family vacation destination. Home to 60 miles of uninterrupted beaches, the boardwalk has become the gateway to what TravelingJules described as “a bazillion things to do.”

There are four regions of Myrtle Beach, which offer a slightly different travel experience. Central Myrtle Beach is close to the airport and features several oceanfront hotels and resorts. It’s close to endless shopping and dining options, as well as the Myrtle Beach State Park. North Myrtle Beach offers campgrounds and the Grand Strand area, which encompasses Windy Hill, Crescent Beach, Ocean Drive, Cherry Grove, Atlantic Beach and Little River areas.

There is so much to do in Myrtle Beach! Beautiful beaches, great shopping, awesome dining and fabulous attractions. There is something to do and see for everyone.

I moved to Myrtle Beach for my job. When I transferred again, my husband and I were so sad as we left the Myrtle Beach city limits because we had fallen inlove with the area. We vowed one day to return and we did...3 years later and we will never leave again! What makes a great town is in large part due to the people in the community. The warm and inviting southern hospitality is as sunny and welcoming as our beautiful weather. From beautiful beaches, fresh local seafood, fantastic and unique live entertainment venues and shopping, championship golf, watersports, cruises, sailing, fishing, Brookgreen Gardens and beautiful state parks, there is entertainment from age 2 to 102!

Myrtle Beach has so many fun things to do! The beach is the star, but new destinations like the boardwalk and the SkyWheel are great. Broadway at the Beach, the Market Common, all the restaurants and nightlife, all the recreation and golf, and all the amusements for the kids make Myrtle Beach the perfect small town in which to live and the idea vacation destination.
