For even more great eats try the Golden Truffle, Charlie Palmer, Old Vine Café, El Chinaco, Mastro’s or Zipangu. Reviewers described these hometown digs as imaginative, fantastic, and extraordinary. Locals embrace Costa Mesa as Orange County’s hidden gem.

I've been to the other 2 towns in the lead, and Costa Mesa definitely wins out. Lived in CM for about 10 years. The presentation of food at various restaurants is gourmet quality - the pictures don't lie. I love the Pinot Provence at the Westin for French food and also Marche Moderne. Eat Chow is one of the best little cafes I've ever been to.

I love Costa Mesa for so many reasons! Great location, easy access to the beach. Great restaurants and lots of variety. I personally love Octica's pizzas, and Eat Chows' truffle fries! Great entertainment between the Performing art center and the Segerstrom Center of the Arts you have more choice than you can possibly hope for.
