When We came to GOTL in the 60s, we loved it so much we moved here. Best decision EVER!

When my kids were growing up, we always brought them to The Strip, in Geneva-on the Lake and had a ball, ice-cream, rides, Eddies Hot Dogs, and the Lake. Fate chose for us to end up living here full time, and we will never leave, we are never bored, and everyone is so friendly. My sister was visiting from Australia for two fun-filled weeks, and before she left, she commented- " There is no place like this, I am in Love"!!!!!

I've traveled all over the US. For the friendliness of locals and the multitude of family eateries (Eddies and Marys to name a few), to all the odd little things you'll find in numerous shops and the nightlife (don't get me started!), Geneva on the Lake wins out as the funnest place in the USA to visit. I've been stopping by here for 30+ years, and I'll keep rolling through any chance I get. Your missing out if you don't see it at least once.

Great place to go in the summer for food, drinks and music. Great gyro's at Mike's Gyro's. You have to try one. Also, Piero's, a little Italian restaurant there is also worth trying. No place like this place.

I am 68 years old and have been visiting Geneva-on-the-Lake for 62 years. .it is my favorite place to visit in the summer at least twice. I have taken my grandchildren since they were 4 years old annually. They are now 23, 12 and 9 years old. They love it as much as their Grammie. Capo's Pizza is the best in the U.S; Madsen Donuts are the best also. Adventure Zone (go karts, bumper boats and putt putt) and the Arcade next to Madsen donuts, the name escapes me right now, sorry. It's the best ever. The water slide, Fascination and the original merry go round. The only sad thing is when all the amusement rides were taken away and the bingo halls. They were a part of my past I will never forget. Thank you Geneva-on-the-Lake for all the good memories and future memories for my younger grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I have a great-granddaughter that Grammie will be taking when she is 4 also. She is just 2 now. Clarie
