Punta Gorda "Paradise" has it all....warm winters, spectacular sunsets, quick access to the Peace River, Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico, romantic beaches and picturesque islands nearby, tropical landscapes, inexpensive waterfront properties, variety of waterfront restaurants and tiki's, live entertainment, festivals (wine & jazz, seafood, Greek, etc.), events (lighted boat parade, July 4th fireworks, freedom swim, etc.), social clubs galore (year-around boating, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, hunting, tennis, golf, cars, dining, cards/games, art & crafts, etc.), historical sites, unique shopping, waterfront parks and so much more. Check out my "Life In Paradise" photo album on Face book (Cindy O'Hara, REALTOR with Sun Realty who lives in Punta Gorda Isles). If you click on each photo, a description of the photo will appear. Babyboomers buy retirement homes here.

We first came in by boat 19 years ago to Fisherman's Village. After several return trips we finally settled here. One of the best decisions we've ever made.

The City of Punta Gorda is absolutely charming and has the BEST walking/biking paths which loops around the entire city, well maintained parks, beautiful views of Charlotte Harbor, nice eateries, wonderful hotels, free parking, friendly people, birds galore and much more! I am proud to call the City of Punta Gorda home!

I found Punta Gorda while I was living in the picturesque Colorado Rocky Mountains with the postcard view. Once I visited here, I felt so attracted by the scenic beauty of Charlotte Harbor and all there is to do in Punta Gorda. I was also attracted by the great people that call this home. We moved here eight years ago and never looked back. Love it! This is paradise!
