Pacifica, CA hosts parks and beaches with coastal, mountainous views and noteworthy sunsets. Only 20 minutes outside of San Francisco, the city cherishes its smaller town feel so close to the city.

Visitors love Rockaway Beach, the Pacifica Pier, Pedro Point, and Skyline Blvd. It’s also home to Frontierland Park, San Pedro County Park, and Mori Point. Linda Mar State Beach is a favorite destination with adventure-seekers interested in surfing, hiking, and biking.

Each year, Pacifica hosts the Pacific Coast Fog Festival during the last Saturday and Sunday of September. The festival offers a hometown parade, plenty of activities for children, and a variety of local artists, vendors, and performers.

You can explore the town using the free Gold Line Shuttle and stop by the Sanchez Art Center, Coastside Farmer’s Market, or Pacifica Skate Park. Be sure to see Portola’s Statue and capture the hills, mountains, and ocean on film.

Relaxing, peaceful, beautiful. Close enough for a fun, relaxing getaway.

A beautiful gem and well kept secret. Lovely hiking trails, wheelchair accessibility and easy beach access. Good food ranging from very affordable to more elegant. Great surfing and a local Farmer's Market each Wednesday (2:00pm-7:00pm) May through September. Fishing available at the pier in Sharp Park. Best romantic spots along Linda Mar and Rockaway beaches to sit on one of the many memorial benches, hold hands and watch the sunset! Follow that up with a great dinner in Rockaway in one of the ocean view booths. Breathtaking! Have I mentioned the whale watching spring through summer?

Pacifica has a view and hike for whatever you want. Ocean Beaches as well a mountain hikes. You can go on a hike and get the best view of San Francisco Bay there is. Portola discovered San Francisco Bay from this hilltop. Pacifica is only 8 miles south of San Francisco on the San Mateo County Coast.
