Busch's Florist is Jefferson City's Oldest Retail Business. Located next to Central Dairy in historic Old Munichburg, Busch's proudly serves as Jefferson City's Premier full service Florist and Greenhouse. Busch's is also known for its beautiful window displays and Christmas decor during the holidays. Busch's has been helping make Jefferson City beautiful since 1890!

Jefferson City is a tight-knit community with tons of community events. People are very generous with giving their time and money to charitable events.

Having been born and spending my formative years in Jefferson City, I try to get back there at least twice a year. I come in from the south on H-54. When my children and grand children were small they always strained eyes as to who would see the Capital first. Always the major priority, after getting the RV settled at Binder park was the quest for which food were craving most, usually the ECHO, then it was off to explore what may be new in town. A look at the Capital grounds and museum, a walk around the streets of Munichburg, giving a bit of history to "the kids", then on to other areas of Jeff City. A brief stay of a week or so isn't enough to take in all this Capital city has to offer.

Jefferson City is a very beautiful city. We are so lucky that over the years as the City has grown the City has managed to accept the new while preserving the history of the City. Older buildings are being remodeled to restore the original structure, while new structures are being built that reflect the newer more modern look. You can go almost anywhere in the City and see beautiful gardens. The gardens may be maintained by local or state government while some of the gardens are maintained by the residents who take great pride in their efforts. A beautiful place to visit or live any time of the year!!!

My husband and I recently moved to Jefferson City. We now call JC home. It is an amazing community! We enjoy walking about dogs on the Katy Trail and learning about the great history embedded in this city. Driving by the Capitol still makes me pause and realize the beauty in our town. My favorite activity is photographing and watching the seasons change. We have it pretty good here in Jefferson City, Missouri.
