I have previously lived in Arvada, and I am thrilled to be back in this great community to work. It is a gorgeous town, with stunning views of the Flatirons and the Rocky Mountains. Despite being a larger suburb of Denver, it has an abundance of open space, parks, golf courses, recreation centers, and hiking trails. Arvada provides all the convenience and amenities of living in a large city, with the beauty, charm, and friendliness of a small community. I would highly recommend this city to anyone moving to the Denver area.

Arvada is absolutely gorgeous. It is close to the Rocky Mountains and contains large, beautiful parks with extensive hiking trails. It isn't unusual for people to see deer, or even the occasional bear, majestically roaming the open space. The Apex Center is an incredible recreation center servicing the community, and the Arvada Center for the Performing Arts holds art exhibits, play productions, concerts, classes, car shows, sand castle competitions, and other events for the community. Our Team Pain skate park is large and quite impressive. Olde Town Arvada has locally owned shops, restaurants, bars, and breweries. There are farmers' markets and festivals throughout the spring, summer, and fall.

My wife and I rented an apartment in Arvada when we first moved in together before we were married. We loved living in Arvada. There are both big chain restaurants and small, locally-owned restaurants and businesses. Olde Town is a great place to hang out. There are shops, restaurants, and bars lining the streets, which include plentiful parking. Soon, a light rail system will connect Arvada with downtown Denver, making it an even easier commute. There are extraordinary hiking trails and open space areas, and the views of the Rocky Mountains are breathtaking.

We've lived in our fair share of places in the last few years and Arvada is by far our favorite. Tons of parks, outdoor spaces, and this small town even has a Nature Center! My 2 year old loves biking down to the Majestic View Nature center, having picnics by Oberon Lake, watching the ducks and the birds along the canal trails, and playing in the playgrounds that line Ralston Creek!
