Park City, Utah was founded in 1869, originally as a silver-mining town. It only took a few decades for the town’s population to boom to 10,000 residents in the early 1900s. The Park City Museum offers historic walking tours for those interested in the town’s rich mining history. Park City hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics, where Main Street was the place to be with boundless entertainment. Thousands of locals volunteered to take part in the event.

Recreation-wise, Park City has the basics and more covered. In addition to its several wooded trails, its golf course is consistently ranked as one of the best in the region, while an ice arena and racquet club draws both residents and visitors. Skateboard parks and multi-use recreational parks are also an option.

The spot is also known for the Sundance Film Festival, which has been held in Park City for almost 29 years. This festival takes place every January and lasts for 10 days.

Summers are popular in Park City, when free outdoor concerts are plentiful. There are also international biking competitions in warmer months, as well as a Park City Marathon. Arts and music festivals are great for family-friendly entertainment. No matter the season, the Park City website assures “you’ll never run out of things to do here.”

Park City, Utah is one of the most picturesque towns in the world with the wildflowers covering the lush mountains in the summer and the "Greatest Snow on Earth" during the Winter. It is a playground for anyone no matter what the season with incredible mountain biking, hiking, skiing, snowkiting, outdoor festivals and concerts. This place is truly one of a kind.

Park City is America's most accessible mountain recreation destination, with many fun things to do both in the summer and winter seasons. In winter, three world-class ski/snowboard resorts offer over 9,000 skiable acres of winter fun. In addition, many other winter activities are available, including snowshoeing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing and more. In addition, Park City is home to the annual Sundance Film Festival every January. During the summer months, the area offers over 400 miles of public trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding. There plenty of arts and music offerings, including the Deer Valley Music Festival and Kimball Arts Festival. Add to that over 100 restaurants and bars, and you'll find that Park City is a fun place any time of the year!

Park City is the quintessential mountain town. Small town charm meets mountain west views in Park City. The people are friendly, the food is fantastic and you can't beat our recreational activities. You haven't seen Utah if you haven't experienced Park City.
