As I look out from my back deck I can see the beautiful West Woods Golf Course with the majestic Sleeping Indian Mountain rising above. Turning my gaze a little to the north in this big sky country, I see the magnificent Flatirons of Boulder. The bike/walking path in my neighborhood takes me through riparian forest with Ralston Creek tricking along my path. This path feeds into dozens of miles of off-road bike/hiking paths criss-crossing Arvada and feeding into the Denver metro bike path system. Beauty is everywhere one looks in Arvada, Colorado. Arvada is a small town and it's centrally located between Denver & the foothills. It has many parks and many trails, for walking, hiking, and biking. It seems every other year the City is building a new park or updating an existing one. Soon, light rail -commuter train- will come by, which means it will be easier to get to Arvada from the Denver Metro Area. OldeTown Arvada has numerous business, ranging from restaurants, local owned coffee houses, local bakery, hair salons, small theater, to Army Surplus Store. OldeTown has so much to offer to anyone!

Best Beer in Colorado, 3 breweries, but the best is in Olde Town. Love this place, and Arvada Beer is awesome. Come check this place out. 10 to 12 beers always on tap. The best in Colorado!

We have lived all over the country, and are happy to be settled on the high praire of Arvada next to Standley Lake, a stunning natural preserve with biking trails, dog walking, fishing, boating, and wildlife watching. The views of the Front Range are stunning, and we always feel, coming home, that we live in the most beautiful place in the world! With over 120 parks and hundreds of miles of bike trails, we wouldn't want to raise our new son anywhere else.

It is a pleasure being in such a great city, it is perfect in so many ways; such as, it feels like a small community at times and at other times it feels huge, people always seem to come together. Another, is the city is developed greatly, everything is close and everything you would need is pretty close. Then, we get to how beautiful the city is, the views we get of the Rockies, and all the parks in the city make it really to just take a nice walk.. I feel this City will always stay this way, that is what makes it great!
