Myrtle Beach has become a beloved family vacation destination. Home to 60 miles of uninterrupted beaches, the boardwalk has become the gateway to what TravelingJules described as “a bazillion things to do.”

There are four regions of Myrtle Beach, which offer a slightly different travel experience. Central Myrtle Beach is close to the airport and features several oceanfront hotels and resorts. It’s close to endless shopping and dining options, as well as the Myrtle Beach State Park. North Myrtle Beach offers campgrounds and the Grand Strand area, which encompasses Windy Hill, Crescent Beach, Ocean Drive, Cherry Grove, Atlantic Beach and Little River areas.

Moved here 3 years ago after vacationing here for all 30 years. Great place tp visit and live. So much to do for everyone in the family and just love the BEACH!!!

Relocated here a little over 2 months ago to be closer to family. I absolutely love it here. There are all kinds of great things to do here: Ripley's Aquarium, WonderWorks, Celebration Music Theatre, Legends in Concert, The Carolina Theatre, the new Skywheel, the Boardwalk, the new Pirate's Voyage, The Alabama Theater, The Bowery, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, some of the best golf courses anywhere, miles of beautiful beach, etc....

This is 60 miles of clean white beach, 55 degree average winter temperature, thousands of hotels and restaurants, and southern hospitality. I love sunshine and "grey days" are few and far between here, So glad we moved here 28 years ago . We have so much to do in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach, that the "locals" rarely get to see/do everything. Theatres and golf courses too, what more could you ask for?

Myrtle Beach is the best destination anywhere! There's so many things to do and everything is very affordable. It's got to be the most fun place to go!

There isn't anything I'd trade about Myrtle Beach. I moved here to raise my daughter and I couldn't be happier! We have so much at our fingertips and from scavenger hunts on the beach to naming flowers at Brookgreen Gardens, it is always a fun and educational experience!
