Jefferson City offers the best of small town living with most of the services of a large town. The Missouri Capitol is the most beautiful in the country, partly due to the beautiful artwork throughout the building and partly to the grounds overlooking the Missouri river with its impressive bluffs. There is more to Jefferson City than meets the eye, so come check it out.

Jefferson City is the gateway to the Ozarks. The truss bridge over the mighty Missouri River is the key that unlocks the natural beauty of the capital of the Ozark Mountains. The Pat Jones Pedestrian Bridge on the down river side of the historic bridge links Jefferson City's past as an important stop along the Lewis and Clark Trail with its present status as a scenic trailhead for the Katy Trail State Park. The majestic Capitol building dominates the skyline as you travel across the bridge into this unique small town like a mighty fortress that exhibits peace and tranquility through strength for residents and visitors. Native trees line High Street from the Capital Complex to the old residential neighborhoods and remind everyone that in Jefferson City "there's no place like home" if you want to enjoy four distinct seasons. Radiant colors dominate native red maple leaves in the Fall, snowfalls in the winter blanket the rolling hills in the Winter, dogwoods bloom in the Spring, and hawthorn flowers and blue birds bring beauty to the Summer season.

A warm, friendly beauty of a town perched on the bluff above the Missouri River. What's not to love?

The Ozarks in the fall have to be one of the seven wonders of beauty. Jefferson City is number one in the Ozarks. The colors of the trees, the smell of the fireplaces, the hot chocolate, and being here with the one you love is the best. Come visit and experience Missouri's Capitol city.

Jefferson City is a beautiful town that offers a little of everything from the state capital to the Missouri River. Jefferson City is filled with gorgeous historic buildings and a beautiful downtown! Fall is especially pretty in Jefferson City because of the trees that line the Missouri River. Watching them turn to the nice hues of oranges and reds and something I look forward to every year. Jefferson City is a great place to live and is also one of the most gorgeous places on earth!
