Begin your tour of historic US 66 country with a visit to the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore. Rogers was a cowboy, comedian, Broadway star, actor, radio commentator, newspaper columnist and philanthropist, to name a few. The museum houses several interactive exhibits, memorabilia, and Rogers' tomb. Also in Claremore is the J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum with a spectacular collection of some 20,000 guns. In Oklahoma City, see the Myriad Botanical Gardens and Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory which once presented the world's largest flower, the Amorphophallus titanum, at 42 inches tall. There are also 1,000 species of plants featured in the Crystal Bridge along with the Meinders Garden, a colorful array of plant species that changes from spring to fall.
