On this trip you will explore two of the three Canadian prairies. Begin your adventure in Winnipeg, the capital of Manitoba. Here you can ensure a busy visit by stopping at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the Winnipeg Symphony, the Winnipeg Art Gallery, the Children's Museum, and the Assiniboine Park and Zoo. Farther west, stop at the Riding Mountain National Park in Minnedosa. While here, enjoy the lodging, shopping, tennis, golf, lawn bowling, and the stables the park offers. Drive west to Grandview for an excursion to Baldy Mountain, Manitoba's highest point at 2,729 feet. End your tour at Spruce Woods Provincial Park, just southeast of Brandon. This park offers a walk through the Spirit Sands Trails to see cacti and lizards, and also a covered wagon ride through the desert area.
