Wolcott House Museum

Description

Wolcott House, a stately mansion overlooking the Maumee River, has been restored to depict life in the mid-19th century. The five other historic buildings relocated to the site have been furnished in the style typical of the people who would have used and lived in them. You'll find a church, railroad depot, saltbox farmhouse, town house, and rustic log cabin. Guided tours are available at 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM, Thursday through Sunday, from April to December, and other times open by appointment. It's at 1035 River Road in Maumee. (419-893-9602)
