Windmill "De Immigrant"

South of Galena, on the banks of the Mississippi, Fulton is as Dutch as the Delftware, the fine lace sold in shops, and its 100-foot tall working windmill. Called "De Immigrant," the windmill was crafted in the Netherlands. Volunteers trained in Dutch miller wear authentic clothing, down to their wooden shoes. They stone-grind wheat, rye, buckwheat, and corn, all sold in the gift shop.
