The Greater Cleveland Aquarium

Description

The Powerhouse, located on the West Bank of Cleveland’s Flats, became home to the new 70,000-square-foot Greater Cleveland Aquarium, which includes 42 tanks integrated into the historic building. The exciting underwater environment includes the SeaTube® that lets you experience life under the sea in a clear, 145-foot, walk-through tunnel.

The aquarium adds a new and exciting dimension to tourism and educational outreach in Cleveland, Ohio. You can visit every day but Thanksgiving and Christmas from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Byway Re-Route - On occasion, due to maintenance, there can be a Center Road Bridge closure in Cleveland’s Flats. Visit ohioanderiecanalway.com for an alternate route to the Aquarium or to simply continue your Byway journey.
