The Braille and Discovery Trails
In 1961, the Braille Trail was the first trail developed specifically for the use of the blind, and was the inspiration for a network of more than 32 such trails nationwide. Next to the Braille trail is the Discovery Trail, which was developed in 2000 by the U.S. Forest Service as a handicapped-access trail along the Roaring Fork River.
