The Big Oak

You'll find some true "living" history at the intersection of East Monroe and Crawford in Thomasville. Here, you can gaze up at the nearly 70-foot-tall, 323-year-old oak tree known simply as "The Big Oak." First registered with the National Live Oak Society in 1936, this venerable tree has a circumference of some 24 feet.
