Sturgeon Point Lighthouse

Description

Sturgeon Point Lighthouse is both a working lighthouse and a museum. The two-story keeper's house offers numerous exhibits concerning life on Lake Huron and is furnished as it would have been in 1913. The keeper's house is open 10 AM to 3 PM weekdays, 11 AM to 4 PM on weekends. The tower is open for self-guided tours Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon to 3 PM from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The grounds, which include a one-room school house, are open all year.
