Smith Robertson Museum and Cultural Center

Description

The cultural center is the first museum devoted entirely to African culture and history in Mississippi. The exhibits depict the heritage of African Americans. The museum is housed in the former Smith Robertson School, the first public school built for African Americans in Jackson. It is open seven days a week.
