Shoshone Falls

Located 3 miles east of the city of Twin Falls, these 212-foot cascades have been welcoming people since the early 20th century. Not only are they 45 feet higher than Niagara Falls, but they carry an equivalent volume of water during the spring runoff season. For the most spectacular view, visit October through April, before irrigation diversions diminish the Snake River’s flow. The surrounding parkland also has trails, playgrounds, swimming areas, picnic tables, a boat launch, and scenic overlooks.
