Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge

Description

The Sandhill Crane National Wildlife Refuge was established during the 1970s to protect the endangered Mississippi sand hill cranes. Now, the population of these cranes has tripled. But there's more than just the cranes to admire — you’ll also discover meat-eating plants in this prairie.
