Ralph Foster Museum

Description

This museum features everything from a model circus and the original Beverly Hillbillies truck to an 8,000-pound mountain diorama with goats, coyotes, and other North American animals. Two life-size polar bears, one upright on his hind legs, greet visitors as they step off the elevator on the third floor. The “please-touch” Discovery Room is filled with hands-on opportunities; children don Indian costumes in a model teepee. In the History of the Ozarks Gallery, visitors see a little cabin furnished Ozark-style, complete with a rope bed. As the sun sets over Table Rock Lake and the bright lights of Branson dim, it’s a final salute to an Ozark adventure.
