Pony Express National Memorial

Description

In 1960, a lone horseback rider braved the rugged trails and the tough weather elements to unite a country. Today this museum celebrates that bravery. Exhibits take you into the worlds of blacksmithing and harnessing with displays of artifacts such as farming tools and storefront signs. The 1860s Coin Collection contains a massive gallery of old coins. Use the crank machine to create your own souvenir pressed penny.
