Pointe-au-Pere National Historic Site

Description

The Pointe-au-Père Lighthouse, built in 1909, once played a pivotal navigation role on the St. Lawrence River. Today, it's one of three lighthouses on the historic site. Anything you ever wanted to learn about the maritime history of St. Lawrence can be discovered in the accompanying museum. Tours of the lighthouse are self-guided, and it's open seasonally.
