Poinsett State Park

Description

You'll find unmarked Revolutionary War sites and Depression-era buildings throughout Poinsett State Park. Explore them by hiking or biking the park's extensive trail system which connects to Manchester State Forest's Palmetto Trail, winding over diverse terrain of swamps, sand hills, and mountain bluffs. Rental fishing boats provide access to the 10-acre lake where youcan fish for bass, bream, and catfish (with a valid South Carolina fishing license, of course).
