Old Town Pizza

The setting: in the former lobby of the 1880 Merchant Hotel. The scenery: Brick walls, aubergine-velvet settees, rustic wooden tables, candlelight. The menu: fresh salads, toasty Italian sandwiches, pizzas made with hand-tossed dough. It seems a comforting, cozy place to get rid of the drizzly Pacific Northwest chill—or is it? Some patrons report a different kind of chill here. Many claim Old Town Pizza is haunted by the ghost of Nina, a Native American woman who was reportedly murdered in the hotel.
