Ohio City Market District

Ohio City, an urban neighborhood on the west side of Cleveland, is known for its epicurean delights and its growing “brewery district---a great spot for a frothy pint that was named one of the 10 Great Places to Bar-Hop Round the World by USA Today.

Be sure to stop by the Ohio City Farm. At nearly 6 acres, it’s one of the nation's largest contiguous urban farms, providing fresh and local ingredients to many area chefs. It operates near the century-old West Side Market, which was built in 1912 and today, with 180 booths selling produce, meat, and other items, is the country's largest indoor/outdoor market.

Foodies, take note: Food Network proclaimed the West Side Market as the Best Food Lovers' Market and as one of the top 10 food destinations in the U.S. To fully explore it, the farm, and the Ohio City district, consider basing yourself at the J.Palen House B&B, which was rated one of the Best in the Midwest by Midwest Living magazine.
