Norton Simon Museum of Art

No trip to Pasadena is complete without a visit to the Norton Simon Museum. Simon, a corporate lion, amassed an incomparable collection of Western and Asian masterpieces, which is beautifully displayed in this gem of a museum. Such renowned works as Picasso's Woman with a Book, Degas' bronze The Little Dancer Aged Fourteen, and Rembrandt's Self Portrait are in residence. Works by Goya, Manet, Monet, Renoir, van Gogh, Cezanne, and Rousseau as well as a major collection of South Asian sculpture make this one of the world's most prestigious art museums. The Museum is located at 411 West Colorado Blvd.
