North Overlook of Cedar Breaks National Monument

Description

The North Overlook of Cedar Breaks National Monument allows visitors to walk to the rim and look out across the multi-color amphitheater and its hundreds of spires carved out by millions of years of water, soil and wind erosion. The varied colors of browns, reds, oranges, and creams layered upon each other grow from the bottom of the gorge to the forest rim, with the hues changing intensity and brilliancy throughout the day as the sun moves across the blue sky. The North Overlook is the only overlook of Cedar Breaks that is open year-round.
