Nevada State Museum

Description

The Nevada State Museum showcases the natural and cultural history of the state, and this particular location includes the Carson City Mint. Visitors can view a historic coin press, geological rock specimens, a Columbian mammoth, a Great Basin cave, Charles August Fey's slot machines, and the underground mine. The museum is closed Sunday-Tuesday.
