The Moncton Museum showcases the history and heritage of Moncton and the surrounding areas. It offers permanent and temporary exhibits, educational workshops, and a research library, with history dating from the settlement of the Mi'kmaqs to today. The golden shipbuilding years, the railway era, and an agriculture-based period are all examined in relation to the Moncton area. Guided tours are available.
