Millicent Rogers Museum

Founded by the family of oil heiress Millicent Rogers in the mid-1950s, the museum focuses on the art, history, and culture of northern New Mexico and the Southwest. Among the museum's highlights are a large selection of the distinctive black-on-black pottery of Maria Martinez, Native American paintings and textiles, and a magnificent collection of Southwestern jewelry. The museum is located 4 miles north of Taos off NM 522.
