McIlwaine House

Description

Any tour of this lovely and historic town should start at the Petersburg Visitors Center, located in the impressive McIlwaine House. The house was built after Petersburg's devastating 1815 fire. You can get maps, information, and museum admission tickets, including a block ticket to all museums. The center is open daily from 9 AM to 5 PM. You'll find it on the riverfront at 425 Cockade Alley, near the corner of Old Street.
