Learning Vacations in Yellowstone

One- to multiday small group outings, led by experts from the nonprofit Yellowstone Association Institute, take park visitors into the field to see and learn about the park’s wildlife, wildflowers, geology, journaling, photography, and more.

Lodging and Learning package programs combine field outings with in-park lodging and meals. Private Tours are for families and small groups who want their own personal naturalist guide. Field seminars are for curious adults who want to dive deep in to a particular subject.

Fees include instruction, in-park transportation, and use of high-power spotting scopes.

Lodging is available in at the Lamar Buffalo Ranch or Yellowstone Overlook field campus, or in park hotels.
