Katz's Delicatessen

This deli has been serving hungry Lower East Siders since 1888. You can’t miss the neon sign, which rarely goes dim—a good thing in a city that never sleeps and likes to nosh at all hours. The Rueben, pastrami, corned-beef, brisket, and other sandwiches here are huge and tasty. The bagels, matzo-ball soup, hot dogs, and cheesecake are also renowned.
