Jim Beam American Stillhouse

Description

Tours of this all-American distillery, operating since 1795, feature a hospitable, down-home vibe. It’s named after James B. Beam, who helped re-establish the brand as one of the world’s best-selling bourbons in 1933 after Prohibition. What is now the seventh generation of the Beam/Noe family is still involved in the business. Guided tours include a tasting and last about 90 minutes (reservations are a good idea). Afterward, pop over to Fred’s Smokehouse for some barbecue, beans, and bourbon ice cream.
