Jeremiah Lee Mansion

Description

Built in 1768, the Jeremiah Lee Mansion is a Georgian-style home which has remained in its original structure, including early American furniture and 18th century hand painted wallpaper. Jeremiah Lee was once the wealthiest merchant and ship-owner in Massachusetts. The home has 18 furnished rooms and three floors, which visitors are free to explore. The mansion aims to capture what everyday life was like for Marblehead residents.
