Ipswich Historical Society & Museum

Originally founded in 1890, the Ipswich Historical Society and Museum in Ipswich, Massachusetts is housed by two significant structures: the 1677 Whipple House and the 1800 Heard House. Each of these houses contains original furnishings and architectural detail. The historical collections at these museums aim to capture the everyday lives of early Ipswich residents.
