Description

Located in Prince Edward Island National Park, the Anne of Green Gables house is a popular destination for tourists. Author Lucy Maud Montgomery created the story of "Anne of Green Gables" with the house as her inspiration for the tale's setting. Tours of the home focus on the historical significance of the author and the house. The area surrounding the home is a scenic coastal landscape with sand dunes, fresh water ponds, salt marshes, and forests.
