Great Lakes Marine and U.S. Coast Guard Museum

Description

The Great Lakes Marine and U.S. Coast Guard Museum is attractively housed in the clapboard duplex where Ashtabula's two lighthouse keepers and their families lived in the late 19th century. You'll find models, paintings and artifacts in addition to hundreds of photographs of harbors and ships. Located on the Ashtabula waterfront at 1071 Walnut Blvd, the museum is open from Memorial Day through September. There are picnicking facilities, and admission is charged.
