Gaspesian British Heritage Village

Description

The Gaspesian British Heritage Village in New Richmond explores the history of the first English-speaking inhabitants of the scenic Bay of Chaleurs. Comprised of 20 buildings, the village educates visitors on the history of the Micmacs and the Acadians around the end of the 18th century. The village offers guided tours, a tea room, a yearly exhibitions, walking trails, convenient beach access and picnic tables. It's also known for the New Richmond Bluegrass Festival.
