Fort Erie Historical Museum

Description

Built in 1874, the Fort Erie Historical Museum once served as a township hall and even a jail, ununtil it was designated a historic site in 1988. The museum is open year-round, and offers local history exhibits. This exhibits range from archaeology dating back 11,000 years, artwork, to the traditions and crafts of the United Empire Loyalists. Public archives are also available for genealogy research and local information.
