Duquesne Incline


It was built to haul freight and passengers up Mount Washington, and today its century-old cable cars—whose cherry, oak, and maple interiors have been fully restored—carry commuters as well as visitors. The views are panoramic from the Upper Station observation deck and from several restaurants along Grandview Avenue. There’s free parking across the street from the Lower Station.
