Dufferin Terrace

Description

Located near Chateau Frontenac, this boardwalk affords a panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River and the Ile d'Orleans. The wide boardwalk with its intricate wrought iron guard rail was built in 1878. At its western tip begins the Promenade des Gouverneurs, which skirts along a cliff and leads to the highest point in the city, Cape Diamond.
