Description

The Cushing House Museum and Garden delves into Newburyport's rich history. Inside the federalist-style mansion, a guided tour walks visitors through several rooms, with collections of portraits, furniture, silver, and more from the prosperous shipbuilding era times. Outside the museum, visitors can enjoy a garden, a cobblestone yard and a carriage house. Throughout the year, the museum offers special lectures and exhibits.
