Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge

The Crescent Lake National Wildlife Refuge protects the natural habitats of Nebraska's Mountain-Prairie Region, spanning more than 45,000 acres of sand dunes and rolling hills. Over 20 lakes and even more ponds make more scenic beauty and the diverse wildlife only adds to the experience. Regulated hunting and fishing are allowed in these wetlands during appropriate seasons and photography and observation are widely encouraged. The refuge is open year-round.
