Colorado Railroad Museum

Description

One of the oldest and largest railroad museums in the Rocky Mountains was established in 1959. Its 15-acre rail yard showcases more than 100 locomotives, passenger and freight cars, and cabooses. Its depot-style museum houses art and photography, railroad artifacts and equipment, a roundhouse, a wooden water tank, and operational model railroads.
