Charlevoix Maritime Museum

Description

The Charlevoix Maritime museum explores the history and building techniques of ships built in Saint-Joseph-de-la-Rive. The indoor museum features permanent and temporary exhibits for the history-minded. Outside, visitors can enjoy the picnic and beach areas. They can also see for themselves the actual ships built on the site — the Jean Yvan, built in 1958, and the Saint-André, built in 1956.
